Actiwave Motion
The Actiwave Motion is an ultra-miniature dedicated ambulatory raw acceleration logging device. Using the latest tri-axial MEMs accelerometer technology, 3 axis recordings of raw acceleration may be made for up to 7 days (25Hz sampling). The setup offers the options of between 25 Hz sampling to 100 Hz sampling for more detailed capture of activities over shorter periods. Due to its small size, the device can be mounted at almost any location on the body.
The Actiwave Motion records acceleration only - no electrodes are required.
Ultra-miniature design
The Actiwave Motion weighs only 5.6 grams and is 25 x 27 x 8.5 mm making the device small enough for ambulatory conditions and discrete enough to have the lowest possible patient burden. The very small size and weight of these units makes them ideal for paediatric and veterinary use.
Key Features
- Records Full Waveform Accelerometry Data.
- Raw Data Output in Open Format.
- Tri-Axial MEMs Accelerometer.
- Up to 100Hz Sample Rate.

Body Mounting
A dedicated quick release mounting 'boot' may be optionally used with a choice of adjustable soft elastic mounting straps to allow positioning on the waist, arm, thigh, ankle or any other suitable location on the body.
The device is first placed inside the mounting 'boot':
The mounting strap may then be adjusted and attached to the device with the quick release hooks:
Acceleration recordings can be saved as EDF+ or CSV for maximum ease of access to the raw data.
