Periodic Limb Movements in Sleep (PLMS) is an increasingly recognised symptom of Parkinson’s Disease and a number of other disorders of the central nervous system as well as being a serious condition in its own right. Cambridge Neurotechnology Clinical Services is able to supply a solution for objectively quantifying the intensity and duration of tremor using the Tremorwatch, an accelerometer based unit which differentiates between tremor and other movement. A full range of in house analysis services are also available.
