Sleep Research

CamNtech has extensive experience in the sleep field and was the inventor of the Actiwatch, the well known wrist worn sleep monitor. The company has a range of products suitable for use by both sleep researchers and sleep physicians. Recently CamNtech has launched two wrist-worn actigraphs; The MotionWatch 8 and PRO-Diary.

Motionwatch 8

Following discontinuation of the Actiwatch 4 and 7, CamNtech has utilised advances in accelerometer technology to produce the MotionWatch 8 with a tri-axial digital accelerometer:

• Light sensor and event marker included as standard
• Software includes NPCRA function
• User replaceable battery
• Records up to 180 days with a 1 minute epoch

PRO-Diary

An electronic wrist worn patient diary for subjective data capture in real time, CamNtech's PRO-Diary system now contains a tri-axial accereometer as standard. Utlising the same technology as the MotionWatch 8, the PRO-Diary is interchangeable as part of an actigraphy system.

Actiheart

Records activity, heart rate and heart rate variability in a small, lightweight and waterproof device which simply clips to two ECG pads on the chest:

• Ideal for monitoring HRV during sleep
• Recording time of up to 3 ½ days and 3 nights available
• Ambulatory monitoring in a subject's own home is possible substantially reducing costs
• Ideal screening tool prior to admission to a sleep laboratory

Cardio

Miniature single channel ECG recorder which simply clips to two ECG pads on the chest:

• Ambulatory single channel full ECG waveform recording for up to 36 hours
• Ideal for discreet measurement of a single channel of ECG – can be worn under clothing so can be worn unobtrusively 24 hours a day
• The simplest way of collecting a single channel of ECG data; suitable for analysing HRV, QT intervals and other ECG complexes
• Offers the ability to do ECG screening prior to offering a full holter recording
• Offers basic sleep statistics such as Total Sleep Time and Sleep Efficiency

Actiwave

Modular 1, 2 or 4 channel ECG, EMG and EEG waveform recording; miniature data loggers which record for up to 24 hours with user selectable bit rates and sampling frequencies

• Small design makes wearing extremely easy as there is no need for a large waist mounted box
• Ideal for use in paediatrics and in veterinary applications
• Designed for use with populations who are unable to cope with larger technology such as patients with Alzheimer's or dementia
